Over the course of our 40 plus years of business we have developed strong relationships with our suppliers, contractors as well as many homeowners in the Fairfield County areas. Despite our growth over the years, we still maintain our small business feel so that when you call us for an estimate, you have the ability to speak directly with the owner of the company, Rich Ochsendorf. After the initial call you will receive a written job proposal within a few days - it’s that simple!

We rent our machines and trucks with operator/driver hourly.

ABOUT OUR OWNER, RICH OCHSENDORF

Rich grew up in the excavation business starting out doing oil changes and repairing tires as a young teen. After graduating from high school, he became a full time employee – hired as a laborer and then progressing to truck driver and then machine operator and finally to Owner. He has over 30 years experience in this business.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

At County Construction we are growing into a “green” company. Currently, we recycle old blacktop and concrete from jobs we’ve completed into a material we use as a base under new driveways. Also, whenever possible we get the proper professionals on the job to repurpose any materials that are safe to reuse.
